In the spirit of Renaissance and in effort to channel the hidden talents of the students at PCES, every child is given the opportunity to join a club of his or her choice. Clubs meet three times per semester on scheduled Friday afternoons from 12:15-1:30pm. During our first club meetings for the 2013-2014 school year, students participated in fun activities, visited with other students who share similar interests, and enjoyed a growing sense of our school community. Just to name a few: the Drama Club created and performed skits complete with costumes; the Recycling Club listened to a guest speaker from MDOT and discussed how they can help solve the growing problem of liter on our local roads; the Arts & Crafts Club created fall pennat banners and decorated iconic fall shapes, such as footbals, pumpkins, and sunflowers, using paint and foam stamps; and the Nature Club learned about the importance and parts of trees by becoming a "human tree" and transforming torn paper into beautiful artwork trees. If you would like to donate your time or supplies to help at future club meetings, please contact the school office.
