Students at PCES are motivated to help people who have been touched by heart disease during this year's Jump Rope for Heart campaign. Beverly Owen of the American Heart Association visited the school to kick-off the program where all students involved promised to become "Heart Heroes" after hearing her speech and watching an informational video about how their donations can change lives. Second grader Mason Fryer was recognized during the presentation for being the first student to raise over $150. Donations are being collected by PCES students until the end of February if you are interested in becoming a heart hero too!
