Our very own local renowned author, Jesmyn Ward, visited the PCES Library today to share her love of reading and writing with the students. She also shared with the children about setting goals and following your dreams. Ms. Ward is the author of 5 published novels and a two time winner of the National Book Award for Fiction. She read stories to our Pre-K, Kindergarteners, and third graders. Thank you Ms. Ward for being a part of our PCES “Pirates Read” campaign!
