Third grade students at Pass Christian Elementary School have stepped into the roles of “taste testers” and “math ninjas” to sharpen their investigative skills in science and math. They dove into a tongue tingling hands-on science investigation this past week! Throughout the states of matter unit, students have been discussing different properties of states of matter. They used the different properties to identify the states of matter present in a root beer float!
After completing their states of matter investigation, these Pass Pirates then suited up in their Ninja gear to take on the distributive property of multiplication.
These students have truly participated in hands-on minds-on learning experiences that have sharpened their understanding and brought a unique meaning to their learning with a large thanks to their creative and imaginative teachers!
