In order to bring awareness to International Walk to School Day, Pass Christian Elementary School partnered with the Safe Routes to School Resource Center. The mission is to teach our students the important pedestrian safety skills and create safer walking environments for everyone in our community. All PCES students were encouraged to wear green in support of this day. To help with this event, our Mayor Chipper McDermott and Brad Williams, a representative of the Health Department, were on hand to support! The Health Department also provided every student with a bottle of water and a reflective arm bracelet to help them remember the importance of pedestrian safety.
